Jim was born in Greenville, N.C. and grew up in Wesleyville, Pennsylvania. He served seven years in the U.S. Navy and returned to Greenville in 1972
were he attended East Carolina University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Corrections and Social Work. Jim retired from state government in 2006
after 30 years of service.
Now residing in Surf City, he enjoys his hobbies of
photography, stained glass and making beach jewelry.
Jim's photography work earned him the honor of doing a book cover for the Righter Publishing Company, Inc.
Jim credits his fiancée, Sandra Bell, for his success as she has encouraged him from the beginning to pursue his passions.
