Although I’ve always enjoyed sculpting its taken a back seat through out most of my life. A military brat with east coast roots, I’ve spent the last 14 years in chilly Omaha Ne and fell in love with the Mid West in the process. Due to a recent transfer of my husband, I found myself back in my old stomping grounds and now I split my time between Topsail Island and Wilmington.
My career in Omaha kept me very busy as retail manager consequently I never made time to do much sculpting, finding great satisfaction in visual merchandising , window dressing and high end sales; my creative side had no complaints.
I have always derived great personal satisfaction from sculpting and having some new found time on my hands, after an almost 20year break, I decided to buy some clay to see if I still remembered how to do anything… hey it IS just like riding a bike! So here I am now.
My focus these days is primarily on art dolls and fantasy art. I recently joined Etsy and I am a member of Fantasy Artist of Etsy.
